Fabricated by Janice Davis Design LLC and created by John Creech Design and Production between January and February of 2019, the 3D Hot Air Balloon Mural depicts a hot air balloon with the word “DREAM” centered on the balloon. It is flying in the sky with books stacked in the basket, as well as opening and floating around the balloon. The hot air balloon is surrounded by the faces of famous aviators throughout history, including Mae Jemison, the first Black woman astronaut, bringing recognition to the influential figures in aviation history.
